We are now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 training year! The due date for all applications is January 1, 2012.
The postdoctoral fellowship program at the Evidence Based Treatment Centers of Seattle (EBTCS) was developed in 2003 and offers several opportunities for advanced evidence-based psychotherapy training. EBTCS is committed to providing state-of-the-art clinical training, as we believe that high quality training is an essential component of disseminating evidence-based treatments. Available fellowship positions vary somewhat each year depending on program availability. We will likely offer several fellowship positions for the 2012 training year (see below).
All postdoctoral fellowship positions at EBTCS are 2-year appointments (unless otherwise indicated) and include a combination of clinical (18-20 direct service hours per week) and administrative duties (10 hours per week). Fellows receive 2 hours of individual supervision per week, participate in weekly treatment team meetings, and receive several forms of didactic training. Individuals with a PhD or PsyD degree are eligible to apply and prior experience with CBT is generally required. The current salary range for postdoctoral fellows is $35,500 - $42,000.
2012 Postdoctoral Positions:
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) fellowship: This fellowship position is offered through the DBT Center of Seattle (www.dbtseattle.com). Fellows will provide both individual DBT, as well as co-lead DBT skills groups for adults and/or adolescents and their families. Fellows serve as members of a DBT treatment team and receive specialized training and supervision in DBT. Prior experience with DBT is not required but is helpful.
Anxiety disorders fellowship: This fellowship is offered through the Anxiety and Stress Reduction Center of Seattle (www.asrcseattle.com). Fellows will provide individual therapy for clients with the full range of anxiety and related disorders. Applicants will be considered who are interested in treating anxiety in children/adolescents, adults, or both. Fellows will serve as members of an anxiety disorders treatment team and receive specialized training and supervision in evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders. Some prior training or experience with anxiety disorders is preferred.
